I have been hearing that this so called Christian radio station is preaching that the rapture is tomorrow. I have read enough of the bible to know that nobody can predict when the world is going to end. Jesus said, "Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come, claiming, 'I am he' and, the end is near,' Do not follow them." (Luke 21:8, NIV)
I don't know how Jesus could have been more clear than that. Don't be deceived, this guy also thought the world was going to end in 1994. They are also still asking for donations on their website.
I promise, you will be reading this a week from now, a month from now, or a decade from now. This guy is just pulling a (very successful) publicity stunt. This is going to be in the news for a month or so after tomorrow. They are probably saving up that donation money for the big lawsuit they are going to be tangled in. Well I’m going to start on a book report that is due next week. See you then.
